Terms of use
LinkOS services, currently LinkOS Mirrors and LinkOS Status, are provided free of charge by the LinkOS team. Using them means accepting these terms.
The service
- The services are provided as they are, on a best-effort basis. There is no guarantee of availability, speed, or that cached content is current.
- A service may be limited, changed, suspended or stopped at any time. Changes are announced on the status page or on GitHub when possible.
- Evaluate the services yourself before relying on them in production, or run your own copy of the open-source configuration.
Content
- Container images come from the upstream registries. Their publishers own them and are responsible for them; LinkOS does not review or vouch for any image.
- Check what you run: its source, its digest and signature, and its license.
- Follow the terms of the upstream registries, such as those of Docker Hub, GitHub, Google, the Kubernetes project and Quay.
Acceptable use
Do not use the services to:
- distribute illegal content or content that infringes the rights of others;
- attack or overload the services, or get around their limits;
- resell them or present them as your own service.
To stop misuse or to act on a valid complaint, LinkOS may limit or block addresses, clients or images, and remove cached content, without notice.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, the LinkOS team is not liable for any loss caused by using the services or by their being unavailable.
Trademarks
Docker, GitHub, Google, Kubernetes, Quay and other names are trademarks of their owners. LinkOS is not affiliated with or endorsed by them. The LinkOS and OpenLinkOS names and marks follow the brand guidelines.
